My favorite mornings

A couple days days a week I will get up early and sit at the beach when its quiet and nobody is out. Sometimes I will bring my yoga mat, read, watch the surfers or just enjoy the peaceful sound of the waves coming in. I love it when there are tons of people out enjoying the day but mornings are by far my favorite time to go to the beach!

My first earthquake!

I was standing in front of the computer at work and began to slighty sway from side to side... I thought I was getting dizzy or sick. I quickly looked up and saw our chandeliers swaying as well. It was not scary, just an eerie feeling. There was no rumbling or items falling off of shelves. The locals called it a "rolling earthquake". It lasted for about 2 minutes and then we just went on with our day. Most people didn't think anything of it, I guess they are used to it here!

Angels vs. Dodgers

Hannah Swift, an old friend from Republic has lived in LA for the past six years. It has been so fun to reconnect with her! A friend of Hannah's got tickets through his work and was gracious enough to share them. We had a great time and awesome seats!

Malibu at Sunset

We took the PCH to Malibu for dinner, it was beautiful drive. We ate at Paradise Cove. They have tables in the sand and beds to lounge on just feet from the ocean. Its a really fun place!
